Jack and Luke

Here are some pictures of when I babysat Jack and Luke while Emma and Mike went to their doctors appointment.  We had fun walking over to the Provo River and then playing in the water.

How Does Your Garden Grow?

I have had so much fun planting a little garden this summer.  I collected a whole bunch a pots from the good ol D.I.  

I planted squash, yellow pepper, jalapeño, green pepper, cherry tomatoes, celebrity tomatoes, and beef stake tomatoes.  It is so cool to see the vegetables grow.  I just looked at my peppers today and all the sudden there were peppers!  It's like they grew over night!

I had a lot of fun making this patriotic wreath.  I got the red berry portion at the D.I. and then just added the rest of the stuff with patriotic scrap book paper (cut them into leaves and then modge podge them onto wires)  Then added the wooden star in the middle of the wreath (from Roberts!)

what the....

One day Jake and I heard strange scratching noise somewhere in our house.  We followed the nose to our furnace closet. 

We located the noise to the silver pipe, so Jake had to opened up the pipe (i was soooo worried that it was a mouse) BUT to my surprise it was a BIRD!!!  

So the bird was freaking out and flew out of the pipe, flew around our apartment, landed on the TV, and then flew out of the door.  We figured that the bird flew down the pipe from the roof.  It was pretty crazy!!
